About Profarmer

ProFarmer Agro & Veterinary Services Ltd is a registered legal entity incorporated under the laws of Zambia. The company was incorporated to bridge the gap in developing farmers and providing farm management services to farmers around Zambia. Farmers will have access to free technical support and efficiently priced quality farming inputs.

The founders of ProFarmer Agro & Veterinary Services Ltd noticed that emergent to small scale farmers around Lusaka have formal employment making it difficult for them to monitor their farming activities on their farms situated outside Lusaka and remain vulnerable to stagnant agricultural production, despite having competitive advantages such as abundant agricultural land and a generally favorable climate for food production. There is a great potential to developing emergent to small scale farmers in Zambia through education on efficient allocation of land, for either crops or grazing with the goal to increase food production.

Addressing this challenge, we have identified the need to set up a technical services facility in Lusaka and provide farm management services, free technical support and efficiently priced quality farming inputs that would offer the Zambian farmers an opportunity to increase production at no extra cost.

The goal is to grow the Zambian farming community and increase food production with an emphasis on artificial insemination, nutrition, dairy, pig production, beef production, sheep and goat management, aqua culture, broiler production, layer management, crop farming, fencing and veterinary services.
